PITAS: Two rented houses were destroyed in a fire at Kampung Perpaduan Saab on Thursday night, leaving a 65-year-old man injured.
The victim, a Filipino, suffered burns to his neck and right arm and was taken to hospital by villagers before firefighters arrived.
Seven firefighters from Pitas station brought the blaze under control in 25 minutes and declared the scene safe just before midnight.
