LAHAD DATU: An elephant was found dead at an oil palm plantation (pic) in Tungku on Thursday.
The carcass was discovered by a border patrol team near the border of a villager’s farm.
The plantation’s security head lodged a report at Tungku police station at 1.49pm.
The elephant’s gender and cause of death have yet to be established.
The case was handed over to the Wildlife Department for further action.
