Elon Musk participated in a call between Donald Trump and Narendra Modi regarding Iran, according to a report citing US officials.

WASHINGTON: ELON Musk participated in a phone call between US President Donald Trump and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi this week. The New York Times reported the call, which concerned the war in Iran, citing two US officials.

It remains unclear why the Tesla and SpaceX CEO was included on the call. The newspaper also noted it was unknown whether Musk spoke during the conversation.

White House spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt commented on the report when asked. “President Trump has a great relationship with Prime Minister Modi, and this was a productive conversation,” Leavitt stated.

The call between the leaders took place on Tuesday.
