Footage shows police and fire brigade responding for over eight hours to an incident at the Palace of Westminster where a man climbed the Elizabeth Tower, home to Big Ben, while holding a Palestinian flag. (8 March)
Police cordoned off the road while the operation was underway.
Social media footage captured the barefoot individual perched on a ledge, reportedly live-streaming the event on Instagram and using a megaphone to share his message.
