- Emirates has launched a new U-Dream Headrest for its economy cabins, designed to provide multi-way adjustable full neck and head support.
- The headrest features padded, flexible side wings that can be folded inwards to “cradle the head and neck”.
- It has already debuted on three of Emirates’ A350 aircraft after meeting aviation standards set by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).
- All Emirates A350 aircraft are scheduled to have the U-Dream headrest installed by the end of 2026.
- The new feature will also be pre-installed on all Boeing 777Xs, with retrofitted Airbus A380s and Boeing 777s receiving it from 2027.
