TAMBUNAN: Some 15 participated in the Mahkota Pelangi Entrepreneurship Skills Course Programme to build entrepreneurial capabilities and create sustainable economic opportunities at the grassroots level, especially among women and small entrepreneurs here.

This programme centres on the notion that economic opportunities do not arise by chance, but are built through structured training, long-term commitment and willingness of participants to empower themselves.

It paves the way for more inclusive economic self-reliance and competitiveness at the grassroots level.

One of the participants, Sylvia David Jaimun, said the programme provided significant practical exposure, in addition to increasing self-confidence to start and expand entrepreneurial activities.

“Change rarely starts with a bang. It is often born quietly in a modest training room, in the hands of those who want to learn, and in the minds of those who dare to imagine a different future,” she said.
