Kota Kinabalu: Young eco warriors in Sabah are on a mission to inspire others for climate action through clever use of videos under a joint programme between Teachers Education Institute (IPG) Gaya and Siung Films supported by Unicef Malaysia.

“This is a great initiative to spread the word on sustainability and environmental concerns, as well as enhance awareness and educate among students and teachers on the importance of environmental action in Sabah,” said State Minister of Technology and Innovation, Datuk Dr Haji Mohd Ariffin Bin Datuk Haji Mohd Arif.

Speaking at the closing of the Showcase: Educating Students as Agents for Social Change in Climate Action, the Minister said programme provides students with the opportunity to produce video clips through the Siung Film Eco-schools Competition
