Kota Kinabalu: Forty B40 youths in Sabah will soon gain access to digital, artificial intelligence (AI), and career-readiness training under the Mereka Talent Accelerator (MTA) Sabah Special Edition, an initiative by Mereka Innovative Education with support from Yayasan Hasanah and the Ministry of Finance (MOF).
The programme, which combines online and physical sessions, aims to boost employability and future income opportunities among unemployed and underemployed youth.

Mereka Innovative Education Group CEO Rashvin Pal Singh, said the Sabah edition goes beyond digital upskilling, focusing on creating real pathways for youth to secure meaningful employment, explore entrepreneurship, and adapt to an evolving job market.
“The Sabah Edition is more than just training – it’s about creating pathways for youth to secure meaningful jobs, develop entrepreneurial skills, and build resilience in today’s fast-changing workforce,” he said.
“With support from our partners, we hope to inspire long-term socio-economic mobility for Sabah’s youth.” The MTA Sabah Edition forms part of a nationwide initiative aimed at empowering underserved youth across Malaysia through digital skills, mentorship and industry networking.
