Last weekend, I had the pleasure of accompanying my daughter to a special event that has since become one of our most cherished memories. We attended the "Storytelling with Elsa" session at BookXcess in Sunsuria Forum @7th Avenue in Setia Alam, Selangor, and it was a magical experience that left us both enchanted and delighted.
The moment we arrived at BookXcess, the atmosphere was filled with excitement. Children dressed as their favourite "Frozen" characters, predominantly Elsa, were eagerly waiting with their parents. The anticipation in the air was palpable as everyone waited for the star of the show. When Elsa made her grand entrance, the room erupted in applause and cheers. My daughter’s eyes sparkled with joy, and she tightly gripped my hand in excitement. Elsa, portrayed by a talented performer, looked every bit the part with her flowing gown and blonde braid. Her presence was captivating, and she immediately connected with the children, making each one feel special.
The storytelling session began with Elsa narrating her adventures from the beloved Frozen films. Her voice, melodic and engaging, held the children spellbound. She brought the characters to life, and the kids listened intently, hanging on to every word. My daughter, usually restless during story time, sat still and wide-eyed, completely absorbed in the tale. What made the event truly special was the interactive element. Elsa encouraged the children to participate by asking questions and even helped with sound effects for the story. My daughter eagerly joined in, her face lighting up with every interaction.
After the storytelling, there was a meet-and-greet session where each child had the chance to take a photo with Elsa. My daughter was thrilled to get up close and personal with her idol. Elsa took the time to speak with each child, making them feel seen and appreciated. My daughter proudly posed for her photo, and the joy on her face was priceless. It was a perfect ending to a perfect day.
Attending the "Storytelling with Elsa" event at BookXcess in Sunsuria Forum @7th Avenue in Setia Alam, Selangor, was a magical experience that we will treasure forever. It was not just about the story but about the shared moments of joy, the twinkling eyes of my daughter, and the memories we created together. BookXcess did an outstanding job in organizing this event, and it’s a testament to how powerful and impactful such experiences can be for children and their families. We look forward to more such enchanting events in the future.
