  • Engineers in China have sliced a mountain in half to construct the world's highest bridge.
  • The Huajiang Grand Canyon Bridge, located in Guizhou, will tower 2,050ft above the canyon floor.
  • Aerial footage released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on 1 August showed the construction progress.
  • Upon its opening at the end of the year, the bridge will reduce an hour-long commute to just one minute for motorists.
