
Tuaran: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor reiterated his call that all elected representatives and grassroots leaders must monitor and ensure development projects in their respective areas are completed according to schedule.
“I have been telling them to plan and see the needs of the people. The village heads (Ketua Kampung) and village security and development committees (JKKK) must be proactive in this manner,” said Hajiji, who is also Sulaman Assemblyman, when met after visiting the Rumah Mesra SMJ and minor project sites in his constituency here Monday.

“Those who are eligible for the Rumah Mesra SMJ are those who really need houses. Therefore, this is a top-priority project,” he said.

These included the upgrading of gravel roads to concrete surface at Kampung Lok Batik and Kampung Pandamai, Rumah Mesra SMJ at Kampung Indai and Kampung Serusup and the construction of concrete drains at Kampung Tambalang.
