TAWAU: Some 500 Apas voters received sponsorship to contribute to the Employees’ Savings Fund (EPF) under the I-Saraan programme.
The sponsorship worth RM5,000 was presented by Apas Assemblyman Datuk Nizam Abu Bakar Titingan to EPF Branch Head Mauming Singkung during the PGRS annual meeting of Apas Division, on Sunday.
According to Nizam, the donation is a sign of his appreciation for the voters in Apas constituency, as well as encouraging them to save for the future.
“This is also an effort to respond to the government’s call to take advantage of the facilities provided by EPF,” he said.
