Kota Kinabalu: A prisoner who escaped by a climbing over a prison gate in December last year was given 23 months more prison time by the Kota Kinabalu Magistrate's Court on Thursday.
Nazri Hassan, 33, pleaded guilty before Magistrate Lovely Natasha Charles to escaping Kepayan prison at 12.30pm on Dec 16, 2023.
Nazri was charged under Section 224 of the Penal Code which carries a jail term of up to two years on conviction.
