LAHAD DATU: The Eastern Sabah Security Command (Esscom) detained five individuals suspected of militant activities last year, said its commander Datuk Victor Sanjos.
Victor said those individuals are currently being detained under Malaysian law for further action.
"Esscom is actively monitoring threats and activities...from entering the Eastern Sabah Safety Zone,” he said yesterday.
