• Dame Esther has renewed her plea to MPs to vote in favour of legalising assisted dying ahead of the Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill returning to Parliament.
• Reintroduced by Labour MP Lauren Edwards, the proposed legislation would allow assisted dying for adults in England and Wales diagnosed with six months or less to live.
