Fiyako Tomori has been doing his homework while on England duty.

The Chelsea defender has earned his first call-up to the Three Lions set-up after a strong start to the season.

But that hasn't stopped him from continuing his study towards a business management degree.

"It's not just the books, I like to spend time with the boys and have a bit of fun," Tomori said. "But before I'm going to bed or whatever, I'll have a look over it.

"Football is not going to go on forever. When I retire, or God forbid I get an injury, hopefully I have something I am working towards that can stand me in good stead for the future.

"I spend about eight to 10 hours a week on it. Reading all the time, trying to learn new things. The essays and revision is whenever I am done, I am done. I am currently reading Leadership in Business that's the current topic.

"I haven't got the books, but I can do it online so I can see whatever I need to on there. I've had a little look.

"But it's been the first few days, so I've tried not to look at that too much and focus on the football."
