Everton manager Sean Dyche has confirmed that Beto will miss the next two games.

The striker suffered a serious head injury during their last game, a 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest.

He had been delivering an impressive cameo in the contest, only for his afternoon to be cut short.

"He definitely won't feature these next couple of games," confirmed Dyche at his pre-match press conference on Tuesday, regarding a player who had to go to hospital after the game for tests.

"But he'll be back after that - for all of the protocols and rightly so.

"Good news so far (on his recovery). He's had all of the checks needed and he's fine. He just took a real knock."
