
Everton boss Sean Dyche insists the squad has improved this season, despite their struggles.
However, he admits there remains a lot of work to be done.
He said: "I still believe in what I said. I didn't think it would be a walk in the park and I still don't. That is not just about results by the way, there is a lot of work to be done here I can assure you."
Dyche also said: There is loads to change here and a lot of work to be done but it [survival] was a big step to secure it... We need to demand more, recruit more and everything. There's so many things here.
"There's a lot of work that needs doing. I feel there has to be a real alignment. I don't think the club is ready to be thinking about the big stuff."
