Everton boss Sean Dyche says they have discussed from Monday's collapse at Chelsea.

Everton meet Nottingham Forest on Sunday on the back of a 6-0 thrashing at Chelsea.

Dyche said: "We can't just park it, that's for sure. I certainly haven't. Players were affected by it. They were very disappointed, as was I. My part as manager, I take responsibility, inevitably.

"We spoke to the players about it. They fed back their disappointment, as well as mine. By now we have made sense of it, but a day after we certainly hadn't. It was a challenge but now we do have to park it. We had a chat about it this morning to finish it off. That's gone, we move forwards."

On what they have made sense of, he added: "Just the basics - you've got to work, you've got to harry, you've got to pressure, you've got to fight, you've got to tackle. you've got to play. We were nowhere near any of those."
