Everton boss Sean Dyche admits there's a good spirit within the squad ahead of hosting Brighton Saturday.
The Blues meet Brighton fresh from wins in the Cup and League this past week.
Dyche said, "We want to add to the home mentality, I think that's growing.
"Early-season, the performances were there and the outcome wasn't. But we are getting the outcome right now and we certainly did last night [against Burnley in the EFL Cup].
"We are getting rewards for sticking at it, sticking to what we believe and sticking to what the team is delivering.
"Our chance count is slightly less than it had been but the finishing is improving and we're getting goals from other positions as well, not just relying on the strikers.
"What you are constantly looking for is the consistency of mentality, win or lose and I felt when I came here that it was super high when the team, the club, win, and it drops off radically when they lose.
"I said to the team we have to find a more level view of it and really stick to our guns with our individual and team performance levels, our game planning - we're still working towards that but currently it's paying off.
"When I first came here, I said 'respect and admire the past but build a future' - the best teams that have played here had a grittiness, a determination, an edge to their performances as well as being able to play, being good footballers."
On Brighton, Dyche also said: "They are a very good side and they are showing that.
"You have to be tactically right but you have to impress yourself upon the game as well and I thought we did that very well against them away last season [Everton won 5-1] and we are going to have to do that again.
"Teams who have done well against them have delivered good tactical performances.
"There's a good feel about our team and a good feel at Goodison at the minute so we want to use all of those things to our advantage."
