Everton boss Frank Lampard was happy for the fans after their 3-0 defeat of Crystal Palace.
Goals from Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Anthony Gordon and Dwight McNeil secured Everton's first win since the trip to Southampton and ended a run of three consecutive defeats.
Lampard said: "It was a great performance, a big result and it is nice to have a comfortable win here at Goodison, I haven't had too many of those. I thought from minute one we were on it. It was clear to see.
"We engaged the fans, we had an energy, we were organised, there was great pressing which brought the first goal and then continued with the right things and the right things we want to do, which is important. It was important because after the last few games we wanted to show a certain direction.
"It felt like an Everton performance to me, when I say that I mean that we were really positive, we had a lot of energy, the passing was aggressive, a variation of into the front and behind, good passing and switches of play. That's what I want from the team, they know that and today we showed it all."
