Everton boss Frank Lampard knows there's speculation about his job.
His comments came with Everton going through a difficult time on and off the pitch as the club prepares for another relegation battle and fan discontent surrounds the club's hierarchy.
Asked how he deals with the noise around the club, Lampard explained: "I don't read it and I don't listen to it. I know some people might say that and you might not believe them but I read minimal, because I am human and I might react to certain things. I don't think it's important. I have to be positive because I have to see the positives and drive the positives, drive training and preparation for the game.
"I can flip – when we're doing well I can look for the negatives if I'm not careful. It's not that I'm Mr Positive bouncing around the building. I understand things have to improve and we have to get results – it's Everton Football Club. But I'm pretty good at staying positive."
