Everton chief exec Denise Barrett-Baxendale says their market plans remain wide open.
Barrett-Baxendale wrote in her match programme column today: "Our opening two fixtures have been decided by the narrowest of margins but, whilst the results have been disappointing, there have been positive signs in both matches of the progress being made by the manager in shaping the team for the season ahead.
"Not least, in terms of positives, has been the way in which our summer arrivals have settled into the Club and the team. James Tarkowski, Rúben Vinagre, Dwight McNeil, Conor Coady and Amadou Onana have already demonstrated in their time on the pitch the qualities and strength they will bring to our squad moving forward.
"In the remaining 12 days of the transfer window, we will be continuing to support Kevin (Thelwell) and Frank (Lampard) in the transfer market as they shape the squad in line with their vision and plans."
