Everton have begun talks with Paris Saint-Germain over their young striker Hugo Ekitike.

The forward has been at PSG since signing from Reims in 2022, but he has struggled for goals and game time.

Now Fabrizio Romano states that Everton are ready to offer him a new home in the coming weeks.

The forward would move on a deal that is initially a loan with an option to buy.

However, PSG want a loan fee and they are also set to ask for a significant transfer fee.

PSG are demanding a 35 million fee if Everton are to have the option to sign Ekitike permanently.

The Parisian club may prefer a straight loan to develop the forward and then give him another chance in their first team.
