Premier League side Everton have put forward an appeal against their second points deduction.

The Toffees were initially docked six points by the league for PSR breaches, but then had it reduced to four.

A second penalty related to another year's accounts was two points, but the club want that reduced or removed entirely.

Per the Press Association, Everton had informed the league about their plans ahead of time.

They have now submitted that appeal through formal channels and will wait due process.

The club did admit to breaching the Premier League's profitability and sustainability rules in 2022-2023.
