Veteran defender Conor Coady has signed for Everton from Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The 29-year-old is joining the Toffees on loan for the entire 2022/2023 season.

Coady will wear the no.30 shirt for the Blues, as confirmed by the club website.

He will play alongside ex-Burnley star James Tarkowski in a new-look defence for manager Frank Lampard this season.

Manager Frank Lampard said of the move: "We are delighted to bring a player of Conor's quality and vast experience to Everton and he fits into how we want to play as a team.

"As well as being one of the Premier League's most reliable defenders and an England international, his leadership skills will be of huge benefit to us, too."
