Everton midfielder Callum Bates has signed a first professional contract with Everton, signing a deal until 2025.
The 17-year-old has been with the academy from 11 years of age and is now enjoying his first season with the under-18s.
“It feels great to sign this pro contract and I'm excited for the future," he told evertonfc.com.
“I've been here for a long time and the Club have put their faith in me, which I'm very grateful for. I feel like my progress has been very good since I joined Everton. It's been a big step up to the Under-18s this season but I'm enjoying it.
“It's great to work with Leighton Baines. He demands a lot from his players and he wants the best for us."
