Everton midfielder James Garner has spoken of his frustration about refereeing decisions against his team.
The creative talent was not pleased after the Toffees were beaten 3-1 by Manchester City.
Garner felt that the penalty that gave City a 2-1 lead for a handball by Amadou Onana was extremely harsh.
Garner told reporters: Yeah, we are [receiving end of tough decisions]. Calls just ain't going our way at the moment, but I have not seen the penalty, to be honest with you, so I don't really want to comment on that.
But things just ain't going our way at the moment, but that is just football."
He added: Especially against the opposition we are playing, Tottenham, who are one of the best teams, and City, who are arguably the best team in the world at the moment.
Like I say, I thought we were in the game for large amounts of it, and when decisions don't quite go in your favor, it is a tough one."
