Everton midfielder Amadou Onana has admitted he wants to move to a top side this summer.

The Belgian is likely to star for his national team at Euro 2024 in Germany.

If he plays regularly and impresses, Onana believes that he can move on from the Toffees to a team in the Champions League.

He told Het Laatse Nieuws: In previous tournaments you have seen that the players who did well take the step higher to the top clubs.

"That's something I'm striving for. I feel like showing myself at the European summit. This European Championship is the stage."

His club side may not object to his comments, as the Toffees are in financial difficulty and need to sell players this summer.
