Everton midfielder Amadou Onana has insisted that a win over West Ham was what the fans deserved.
The midfielder was instrumental in his team's hard fought 1-0 success at London Stadium.
After the result, which was settled by a Dominic Calvert-Lewin goal, Onana paid tribute to the fans who were at the ground cheering on the team in great voice.
Onana told evertontv: "[The fans] mean a lot, I enjoy the relationship. You can see at the end of the game me going there and celebrating with them.
That's what they deserve.
"Last season was very tough for us, but also for them. We are trying to give them back what they have given us every single week."
