Everton are hoping to sign Red Bull Salzburg midfielder Mohamed Camara this summer.
The Toffees were close to bringing back Idrissa Gueye from Paris Saint Germain earlier this summer.
However, Daily Mail states that move is now dead, with Gueye turning down the chance to come back to the Goodison Park club.
Now, Everton are assessing 22-year-old Mali international Camara.
They are hoping to secure an agreement for the defensive midfielder.
