Everton starlet Lewis Dobbin is looking at the positives after playing his second game for the club.
Dobbin, who is only 20, has played in both their Premier League games so far this term.
He played in a 4-0 loss to Aston Villa and a narrow defeat to Fulham on opening weekend.
I just need to keep working hard on the training pitch and trying to impress the gaffer," he told Everton's official website.
"Hopefully, I keep getting chances and when I do, I have got to take them. But that's down to me to get more."
He added: "On a personal note, it's a positive to be getting more minutes in the Premier League. As a team, and as a collective, we were not at it against Aston Villa. We've got to go into this week with our heads held high and hopefully go again.
"The main thing is the result and how the team has performed. So that was disappointing. But on a personal note, I didn't feel out of place when I was out there. But now I need to keep improving and getting more minutes."
