Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin was involved in a preseason friendly yesterday.
Calvert-Lewin, who is pushing to find his fitness and sharpness ahead of the new season, played in a 2-2 draw against Monza.
The tall forward is hoping that he is fully recovered from a hamstring injury he sustained late last season.
Everton also had Vitalii Mykolenko involved, with him and Calvert-Lewin playing 45 minutes each.
One who did impress was new signing Arnaut Danjuma, as he collected 75 minutes to show his quality to manager Sean Dyche.
The Toffees are hoping they can avoid a repeat of the last two seasons' relegation battles this term.
