Everton are still hopeful they can sign Samuel Chukwueze from Villarreal in the summer.
The Toffees will have to avoid relegation to make such a transfer a possibility.
However, Radio Marca presenter Pedro Pablo Parrado claimed this week that Chukwueze is set for a Premier League move.
The attacker netted twice in a remarkable 3-2 win for Villarreal over Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu at the weekend.
