Everton have yet to make a decision regarding the future of Niels Nkounkou.
The 22-year-old is presently on loan at Saint-Etienne in France for the entire season.
Now, a report from Homme du Match has stated that Everton will put him on the transfer list in the summer.
The Ligue 2 outfit are unlikely to be able to sign him permanently, given the Toffees want around 3 million.
Per the Liverpool Echo, Saint-Etienne can secure Nkounkou for that fee, but such a sum is likely beyond their capability.
The Toffees may hope that another club comes in to secure the youngster in the summer.
