Everton winger Dwight McNeil has praised Ellis Simms for how he plays as a centre-forward.
Simms was impressive off the bench against Chelsea last time out in the Premier League.
He scored the equaliser after coming on in the 79th minute for Idrissa Gueye, and will be hoping for game time when Everton take on Tottenham on Monday.
McNeil stated, per the Liverpool Echo: We know he has got that side to his side to his game. The way he went past the defender. He's a striker, that is what we want from our strikers. A cool and composed finish from the lad."
Asked about the relegation battle, McNeil said: It is just having that belief and confidence.
Our away form hasn't been as good as our home form this season, but we are always looking to improve.
We are sticking at it and everybody is trying their hardest not only for themselves but for the club and fans. We are giving everything we can at the minute."
