KOTA KINABALU: Upko Vice-President Datuk Ewon Benedick has officially taken over the party presidency from Datuk Seri Wilfred Madius Tangau who did not defend the position in the party election.

The handing-over ceremony was held online, during the party’s triennial conference, here, Sunday.

Ewon, who is also Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Minister, delivered his closing speech online as he was attending the Unity Government Cabinet Minister’s retreat, at Seri Perdana, Putrajaya, Sunday.
