Kota Kinabalu: Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Minister Datuk Ewon Benedick, paid a visit to the Sabah Economic Development and Investment Authority (Sedia), recently, to discuss the agenda of economic development, investment and entrepreneurship in Sabah.
He said the visit also aimed to strengthen cooperation between his Ministry and Sedia in efforts to enhance the entrepreneurship and investment ecosystem in the State.
“The Ministry of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives (Kuskop) and its agencies will work together with Sedia, particularly in the development of high-performing companies from Sabah.
“I appreciate Sedia’s contribution to Sabah’s development, including the implementation of special projects funded by the Federal Government that benefit the people’s economic activities,” he said.
Ewon also expressed his appreciation to Sedia Chief Executive Datuk Seri Hashim Paijan for graciously receiving the visit and sharing his views on the direction of Sabah’s development.
