
Kuala Lumpur: Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Minister Datuk Ewon Benedick will lead a delegation from his Ministry to attend the 11th Asia Pacific Cooperative Ministers’ Conference scheduled from April 28-30 in Jordan.
Ewon said the quadrennial conference is organised by the International Cooperative Alliance - Asia Pacific (ICA-AP) in partnership with the Jordan Cooperative Corporation (JCC) and the Jordan Ministry of Agriculture.
“I will deliver a ministerial statement during the conference and hold a meeting with the Jordanian Minister of Agriculture, Khaled Al-Huneifat, who is also the Chairman of JCC,” he said in a statement.
Both will then witness the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Cooperative Institute of Malaysia (IKMa) and JCC.
