TACLOBAN CITY — Former Abuyog Vice Mayor James Bohol and his son, Carlou James "Jimbo" Bohol, were found dead in Silago, Southern Leyte, on Tuesday.
Abuyog Mayor Lemuel Gin Traya condemned the killings, saying such violence has no place in a community that values peace and security.
Traya also expressed his condolences and assured the Bohol family of the local government's prayers and support during their time of grief.
Police have yet to release details about the incident. Bohol, a businessman, had unsuccessfully sought re-election in this year's polls.
