Former Arsenal captain William Gallas admits Andrey Arshavin's attitude would exasperate teammates.
Gallas says the Russia attacker was a poor trainer.
He told Metaratings: "As I said, Arshavin was a player with potential, but not one of those who worked very hard, who gives 100 percent in training.
"He had a simpler attitude towards everything. It was more important for him to be in shape during the game.
"Some of his teammates did not understand this and were even upset that he did not give his all."
