Former Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adeyabor has hailed the talent of Andrey Arshavin.
Adebayor played with Arshavin at the Gunners.
He recalled to Sport-Express: "Andrey played like a killer. Arshavin is a truly great football player. He could see on the field and do things that no one else saw or did. Just fantastic stuff. It is a pity that he managed to only fulfill 50 per cent of his potential.
"He was very talented and obviously enjoyed doing nothing. When training ended, he was the first player to leave. Arshavin very quickly took a shower and left. This was not good. But in general, the Russian mentality is very close to the West African."
