Sacked Aston Villa boss Steven Gerrard is a candidate for the Besiktas job.
Besiktas have dismissed Valerien Ismael and are now seeking a new appointment.
According to Gürler Akgün, a journalist at BeIN Sports, Gerrard is one of Besiktas' candidates in the search for a new coach.
"In addition to Şenol Güneş, Steven Gerrard and Mircea Lucescu, two names currently working in the Süper Lig are on the agenda," stated Akgun.
Gerrard was dismissed by Aston Villa last week.
