Former Barcelona president Joan Gaspart has dismissed accusations around the payment to former referee Enrquez Negreira.
It's emerged this week that Barca paid Negreira to draw up reports on LaLiga referees during the Josep Maria Bartomeu era.
He said, "Bara has not done any action that cannot be considered normal. It has not done anything illegal. I don't know if the rest of the clubs do it. I don't know that Bara has paid any former member of the CTA. Each one says what they have to say. I insist that Barcelona has not committed any illegality.
"I don't know if it has paid him, but if it has, where is the problem? It paid a company owned by his son to give player reports. In my time as president, vice president, I have never had any contact that has to do with the referees."
