Former Chelsea assistant coach Jody Morris has been surprised by new signing Cole Palmer.
The attacking midfielder signed in the summer from Manchester City near the end of the summer window.
Palmer, who had played for City in the Community Shield and UEFA Super Cup this term, has taken like a fish to water at Chelsea.
When asked about Palmer, Morris said on the Football Daily Podcast: "I've known about Cole Palmer for years, but I have to say even I'm surprised.
I've seen him for youth teams and under-23 teams and stuff like that, but even I'm surprised."
Palmer scored in an impressive 4-4 draw for Chelsea against Manchester City before the international break.
