Former Chelsea winger Florent Malouda is not impressed with the club selling Kai Havertz.
The German, who scored the winning goal in the Champions League final for the Blues earlier in his career, has joined Arsenal.
Havertz had an extremely poor season last term, but Malouda would argue that everyone in the squad was below par.
He told Genting Casino: "I think that the people that are associated to Chelsea need to look in the mirror because we've seen his kind of thing happen repeatedly at the club over the last few seasons, it is almost like a pattern.
"Chelsea can always attract the best talent in the world at an early age and sometimes we fail to give these players a proper development plan."
Chelsea have added Christopher Nkunku to their squad, who will likely take the place of Havertz in the team.
