Former Derby boss Wayne Rooney is ready to take his coaching badges.
The Manchester United and England legend has decided to complete his coaching badges in the next few months and further his education in football.
Rooney chose to step down from Derby on Friday.
Speculation was immediate that the former striker had a club lined up — but instead his plan is to work on his coaching knowledge.
Rooney, 36, is halfway through a Pro Licence course and recently went to Toulon for the Under-20 tournament as part of his training, says The Sun.
