Former Everton midfielder Jean-Philippe Gbamin is yet to find another club this season.
The 28-year-old left the club at the end of last season by mutually ripping up his contract.
However, Gbamin has yet to land on his feet, with clubs reluctant to take a chance on his fitness.
L'Equipe are now stating that he may be in line for a move to USL Dunkerque in France's second tier.
Gbamin had been hoping to find a team in Ligue 1, but there do not appear to have been any suitors.
