PETALING JAYA: A former head of operations for a GLC has been remanded by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) for awarding projects to a company linked to her husband.

“She did this in 2022, with RM280,000 in funds for the transportation sub-contracts’ payments deposited into her personal account,” an MACC source said.

The 40-year-old was arrested at the Selangor MACC office yesterday after giving her statement. She has been remanded until Jan 12.
