Former Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti wants to see Suning keep hold of the club.

Inter's owners are still negotiating their loan repayment with Oaktree.

Moratti told Radio 24: "There is enthusiasm because in any case we are one step away from a wonderful result like the second star and plus there is this derby against Milan with a particular flavour. Winning it against the Rossoneri would be a treat."

Then upon hearing Steven Zhang and Suning may keep control, he added: "Good. You never know what's new and Zhang seems to me to have brought home a lot of excellent results.

"Then he's forced to stay in China, it's not his fault."
